While Andy was in California for business, we made several trips up into the local hills and over to the coast. On his last day before leaving to go off to Fresno for work, we drove through the hills following some of the paths that Mike takes on his bike.

We drove up to the top of the local hills and then started down toward the coast on Tunitas Creek Road. A few miles down, Mike pulled off the road and we got out for a short walk.

We were on the edge of the Purisima Creek Redwoods, and Mike (who, I believe, knows every square inch of this peninsula) took us for a short walk.

It was getting late in the afternoon, and the sun was starting to go down - a great time to visit the woods.

After our walk, we got back in the car and drove to Alice's, a favorite spot up in the hills for dinner.
A nice way to end a very nice day.
