Harry George died in January 2022 at the age of 103. In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated and his memorial service, delayed by the Covid pandemic, was held later that year.
In July 2022, his family and friends gathered to formally say their goodbyes at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. The picture on the right shows Standing Rock on the Cuyahoga River. Pastor Fidler, who presided at the graveside service, is in the photo below, right.
Later that afternoon, the gathering moved to the home of Cindy and Dave,
where we all enjoyed a bountiful meal and shared memories of a wonderful man.
