Leaving Connecticut, we headed north toward the Berkshires in southern Massachusetts. Our first stop in Massachusetts was Bartholomew's Cobble, a delightful nature preserve along the Housatonic. Heading back to New York, we stopped at Rudd Pond in Taconic State Park. Finally on our way to dinner, my brother pulled off the road, saying that, if we waited a few minutes, we would see God. He was right.
