Family and friends came from far and near.
Steve left the Pacific Crest Trail mid-hike. Andy and Carmen came from Germany bringing their little girls to the US for the first time. We had all come to help Harry celebrate his 100th birthday.
Over the course of a week, we enjoyed watching great-granddaughters meet one another, the nearly impossible task of fixing a chair, an impromptu yoga lesson, bagpipes on the lawn, sparklers on the 4th of July, an overflowing buffet table and overwhelming affection for a special man.
