Since his college graduation in 2002, Andy has used his winemaking skills as a passport, and Mike and I have visited him in several different countries.
Andy has been living and working in Germany since 2005. He and his wife and family live in the village of Waldlaubersheim south of the Rhein in the Nahe wine region of the country. There's more about what he has been doing on the "About Us" page.
Now that Mike has retired from NASA, he can do some independent travelling (see the Blade Runner Odyssey, a road trip with a distinct NASA connection). The photo on the right was taken on a hike in May 2013.
The following photo albums will show you some of the places we have visited:
From Innocents Abroad, written by Mark Twain in 1869.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.
